Intro to Internal Auditing – Newcastle CBD

Our introductory internal auditing training course is suited to anyone who is involved in maintaining newly developed or existing management systems,  and is particularly relevant to auditing the requirements of:

     ISO9001:2015 Quality management system

     ISO14001:2015 Environmental management systems

     ISO45001:2018 Occupational health & safety management systems.

However, the auditing principles may be applied to any other processes within an organisation.

Our easy-to-follow introductory course provides a framework and training tools to enable participants to begin the process of establishing an internal audit program, including auditor responsibilities, scheduling, determining audit criteria, who needs to be involved, the audit process, recording evidence, reporting and communicating outcomes.

Prerequisites:

There are no prerequisites for this course, however basic awareness of the learner working environmental including processes and system used would be an advantage.

Learning outcomes:

· How to establish an internal audit program

· How to establish an internal audit schedule and prepare audit criteria

· How to prepare for the audit

· How  to determine evidence requirements and record audit findings

· How to document nonconformities within the internal audit report

· How to complete the audit report and communicate audit outcomes.

1 day (9am – 4pm)
